Session 1: On Psychedelic Facilitation: A Liberation-Centered Approach with Syre Saniyah, PhD, LP
Syre is a Black, queer, transmasculine healing practitioner trained in MDMA-assisted psychotherapy with MAPS. As Director of Liberatory Practices at the Psychedelic Liberation Collective, he brings a liberation-centered, intersectional perspective to psychedelic facilitation and community healing.
Session 2: Trust the Journeyer: Reframing Psychedelic Practice with Dr. Adele LaFrance
Dr. LaFrance is a clinical psychologist, researcher, and international leader in emotion-focused therapy. She has published widely on psychedelic-assisted therapy, eating disorders, and parent–child relationships, and is known for her practical, compassionate approach to training facilitators.
Session 3: From Student to Practitioner: Legal Pathways & Real-World Application
Featuring SoundMind graduates Jake and Patrick McWink, along with policy expert Tasia Poinsatte (Colorado) and attorney Denali Wilson (New Mexico), this session explores the real-world steps, legal pathways, and challenges new practitioners face as they move from training into practice.
