SoundMind Psychedelic Summer Series: Rewatch All 3 Sessions
Last July, SoundMind hosted the Psychedelic Summer Series—three powerful conversations on facilitation, ethics, and the future of psychedelic therapy. If you missed them live, you can now watch the full replay of each session below.
Session 1: On Psychedelic Facilitation: A Liberation-Centered Approach
Speaker: Syre Saniyah, PhD, LP
Syre, a Black, queer, transmasculine practitioner trained in MDMA-assisted psychotherapy with MAPS, shared how psychedelic facilitation can center equity, intersectionality, and community healing.
Session 2: Trust the Journeyer: Reframing Psychedelic Practice
Speaker: Dr. Adele LaFrance
A leading psychologist and researcher, Dr. LaFrance explored why facilitators must trust the wisdom of the journeyer and create compassionate, flexible spaces for healing.
Session 3: From Student to Practitioner – Legal Pathways & Real-World Application
Speakers: SoundMind graduates Jake & Patrick McWink, Tasia Poinsatte (Colorado), and attorney Denali Wilson (New Mexico)
This panel covered the legal pathways and challenges new facilitators face as psychedelic therapy moves into regulated practice.
Applications are still open for our 2025–2026 Facilitator Training Program.
Starting this September, SoundMind’s training program blends science, ethics, and hands-on practice. Learn to support journeyers with safety, cultural humility, and real-world readiness.
